TOKYO – December 13th 2024 – AMC Robotics a robotics startup enabling industry 4.0 in hard to access and hazardous areas for strategic industries has successfully been accepted into the accelerator program Winter/Spring 2025 batch of Plug and Play Japan - a world-class accelerator/venture capital company.
The program helps startups to connect with the corporate venture landscape in Japan and provides funding and business development support.

AMC Robotics aims to deploy its robot across the maritime industry in Japan and use the Plug and Play program to further expand its business into energy related industries, such as offshore oil & gas for the inspection of hard to access and hazardous areas. The company is currently raising a Seed financing round and plans to relocate all of their managerial staff from London to Sendai once the round is concluded.
